Eternal Descent “Lyra” ESP Guitar

This is the second of two guitars that ESP guitars comissioned Svee to paint for the 2009 winter NAMM show in Anaheim, California. The guitars were for a band called “Eternal Descent” (http://www.eternaldescent.com) and both feature artwork from the Eternal Descent comic book due to be released in late 2009/early 2010.

Appetite for Destruction Telecaster

This one is a bit special. Svee was asked to recreate the album cover from the Guns n’ Roses album “Apetite for destruction” which featured a painting by Robert Williams of the same title. Because of the paintings content this original cover was quickly banned and a replacment cover was produced. Svee contacted Robert Williams who very kindly gave him permission to replicate his painting onto this customers Fender Telecaster.

David Mann Tribute Harley

Svee had the privilage to paint an awesome project in early 2009. A tribute to the late David Mann. This bike features 4 different bits of Davids work that Svee painstakingly recreated, 3 on the tank, one on the rear fender and a portrait of the man himself on the front fender.

There were quite a few very long days/nights involved in getting this bike done in time for the client but it was well worth it in the end.

At the time of writing this page this bike has won the following awards so far…
Second best Harley at “Hogs Around The Rock”. Jersey, May 2009
Best in show award at New Forest hog rally, September 2009
Best paint award at Brightona, October 2009.

Paint Shop Diary August 2010
Hi all. Things are pretty mental at the moment. Im trying to get everything ready for the “Kustom Kulture Blastoff” show in September but the work keeps on coming lol. Theres a lot of stuff i do behind the scenes like logo design and product concepts and the like and right now with the impending launch of the ML2 guitar from Chapman Guitars, finding time to get in the paint shop is a little tricky hehe.

Currently i have a “Call of Cthulhu” guitar in the works which i must say is looking great so far. here are a few pics of my progress so far…

Ive just added a page for the Appetite for destruction Fender telecaster i recently airbrushed. This was an awesome project and a big thank you has to go out to the original artist, Robert Williams (www.robtwilliamsstudio.com) for allowing me to recreate his awesome painting on this guitar.

SveeTV goes live again!

If you have been following my site for about the last year or so, you will know i used to have a webcam running on my old site but due to bandwidth restrictions (and a new site design) it was switched off for a bit. Well, im pleased to announce that ive finally got round to coding a new one which can now be found on the “Webcam” link on the top menu. Watch out for any pop-up blockers you may have running though as it opens in a new tab/window.

So from now on, if im in the studio painting, ill have the webcam running.
